2 (THU or SUN) CHICHICASTENANGO
In
the morning, leave for Chichicastenango. On arrival visit the colorful
open-air market and Church of Santo Tomas. The afternoon is at leisure for
further shopping or to see the town on your own. Ov

3 (FRI or MON) LAKE ATITLAN / PANAJACHEL / ANTIGUA
Leave
for Lake Atitlan and a brief stop at the lake side village of Panajachel
on
the highway that circles the lake. Continue to Colonial Antigua,
founded in the XVI century
and declare patrimony of the humanity by UNESCO. The old capital of
Guatemala and where you will
visit sites such as churches, convents, monasteries, and other colonial
buildings. Late in the afternoon return to Guatemala City. Meals (B)

4 (SAT or TUE) GUATEMALA CITY
Today
enjoy a half day city tour, visit to the National Palace, the Cathedral,
Relief Map, and the Artisans Market. Pass by the Civic Center and
residential areas. Rest of the d
ay free to explore the “ZONA VIVA”
